Ave! (Or as the Goblin would say if you met him in the forest: You smell of soap!)
It´s time to reveal the second chapter of the Haddock saga and this time around you better put your druid cape on top of your spacesuit to get in the right mood. Seriously.
It´s on? All right, here we go...
This is what the final original piece looked like somewhere in the beginning of the coloring process.
Coloring is always a time consuming challenge. If something changes, it becomes a domino effect on the other parts, and thus you have to go back and forth over the image until some form of equilibrium is achieved.
The search is therefor about finding the right balance between colors. A balance which ideally follows the original vision of how the colors should look like and what overall impression the picture should convey.
In this case, the key words was purple, space and heat.
A lot of swearing and cursing later, the Goblin was still not too excited by the result. Something was missing, something unearthly, a connection between the endless cold space and the essence of earthly existence.
Something that would be the final piece in an image that combines these elements.
It was time to invoke the spirits who guides the mundane existence of the revenge. The ones that encloses the creation and the creatures who know its laws....
A coffin was thus prepared for the picture along with various items with magical powers.
If you know which formula and which tools that is to be used for this purpose,
it is easy to generate a portal where these forces can meet.
The earthly and the unearthly...
A symbolic burial can always end up very bad if something goes wrong.
the Goblin had to wait until midnight before it was time to cast the spell that would open the gateway.
The exact location was marked with a weasel skull for the convenience of the underground forces that
later would be released on the temporary burial place.
From where he stood, he could sense the presence of the forces invoked and felt hopeful.
Then he fell asleep, exhausted by the tension.
When the grave was opened the next day it was clear that the formula had been successful.
This is what it looks like in its final version.
